    5S3C skincare products

    What is the difference between 5S3C silk fibroin mask and other silk masks?

    5S3C mask is packed with silk fibroin essence and is combined with our choice of bemliese cotton as our sheet material, which increases the moisturizing effects on your skin. Most silk masks on the market today is just a sheet made of silk or silk fibroin which will not deliver the high potency and effectiveness that silk fibroin essence can offer.


    Is 5S3C cruelty-free?

    Since September 2016, Taiwan has banned animal testing and was the first country in Asia to do so! So Taiwanese brands, including 5S3C are now required to be cruelty-free by law. We use silk cocoon after the pupa transforms into an adult moth, leaving the cocoon behind. Therefore there is no killing of the silk worms involved in this process.


    Do you use natural ingredients in 5S3C products?

    Silk fibroin is a core ingredient in all of our products and is natural. 5S3C prides ourselves on natural and safe products to our customers. All of our products are parabens free, phthalates free, sulphates free, silicones free and alcohol free.


    Is it normal to feel an initial tingling session with 5S3C facial mask?

    Due to the potency and quick activating property of pure silk fibroin, you may feel an initial tingling or warm sensation when using our silk fibroin facial mask. Rest assured this is normal and does not cause any irritation or harm to the skin. We take great pride in the safety of our clients and our products have undergone third party testing with SGS and is certified as non-irritant.


    What do I do if I have an allergic reaction from 5S3C products?

    5S3C skincare products have undergone third party testing with SGS and are certified as non-irritant. However, we understand different skin reacts differently, therefore we advise our clients to review the ingredients list carefully before making a purchase. We also strongly advise you to perform a skin patch test before using any product. Should you develop any adverse reaction (such as rash or irritation); do not continue to use the product. Seek medical treatment if your symptoms do not resolve satisfactorily.


    Why do you not offer packaging for some of your products?

    We are all about sustainability. When the products are for personal use and it is appropriate to give you an option without its outer packaging, we offer a discount on the product. We also understand the products may be for gift purposes, so there is an option to buy them with the outer packaging. We only sell products with the ingredient list label on them and you can be assured that the products are genuine.


    Do you offer a free sample to try before purchase?

    We offer a free sample upon a completion of a short survey. You may choose from either a facial mask, silk cocoon scrub or an acne patch. We will require you to provide a review on our social media channels. The delivery fee for a normal postage will be borne by you.

    Am I eligible for membership if I do not live in Singapore?


    We offer membership to Malaysian clients, however, the free local standard deliveries will not be included as part of our offering and will be discounted instead. Please stay tuned for future notice as we look to expand our distributorship channels.

    Shipping & delivery

    Is shipping free and when can I expect to receive my orders?


    For members, local standard shipping is free for purchases above S$20. For non-members, shipping is free for orders above S$55. For orders less than S$55, a charge of S$2 applies. Our standard delivery timeline is between 2 to 4 business days.


    For express shipping, please reach out to us within 16 hours upon payment so that we can arrange it. Additional charges apply.


    Do you ship overseas?

    We are currently the sole distributors for Singapore and Malaysia. For overseas clients, please send us a message that we can advise you on your request.

    Orders & Returns

    What is your return/exchange policy?

    As our products are considered personalized and for hygiene and safety purchases we do not accept any exchange or refunds except for defective or incorrect items.

    For defective or incorrect items, we provide a seven-day exchange policy upon receipt of order, provided that the items are in its original purchase condition, the items must be unopened, unused or undamaged.


    Please email us at hello@5s3cskincare.com with your order number and screenshot of the defective or incorrect item. For us to facilitate an exchange, we will require you to return the defective product back to us by postage and we will ship you a new product once the returned product is received. We regret that we are unable to refund your original shipping charges unless the return was a result of our error.


    Can I cancel or make changes to my order?

    Once the order is placed and payment is received, we are unable to cancel or make changes to your order. We seek your understanding in this as our team members are hard at work fulfilling each order promptly as we understand how important it is for our customers to receive their orders on time.

This Privacy Policy sets out the basis which Evitalize (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of our customers in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”). This Notice applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organisations which we have engaged to collect, use, disclose or process personal data for our purposes.

“customer” means an individual who (a) has contacted us through any means to find out more about any goods or services we provide, or (b) may, or has, entered into a contract with us for the supply of any goods or services by us; and

“personal data” means data, whether true or not, about a customer who can be identified: (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access. 

2.	Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, some examples of personal data which we may collect from you include name, residential address, email address, telephone number and date of birth.  

3.	Other terms used in this Notice shall have the meanings given to them in the PDPA (where the context so permits).

4.	We generally do not collect your personal data unless (a) it is provided to us voluntarily by you directly or via a third party who has been duly authorised by you to disclose your personal data to us (your “authorised representative”) after (i) you (or your authorised representative) have been notified of the purposes for which the data is collected, and (ii) you (or your authorised representative) have provided written consent to the collection and usage of your personal data for those purposes, or (b) collection and use of personal data without consent is permitted or required by the PDPA or other laws. We shall seek your consent before collecting any additional personal data and before using your personal data for a purpose which has not been notified to you (except where permitted or authorised by law).

5.	We may collect and use your personal data for any or all of the following purposes:

(a)	provide your Personal Data through our Site for the purpose of registering for and creating an account;
(b)	apply for an account with 5S3C Skincare or access your existing account through the Site;
(c)	participate in a promotion or other website features;
(d)	facilitate the sale and delivery of our products;
(e)	provide your ratings and review of products as a customer;
(f)	make purchases through our Site or on pop-up events/ retail activities ;

(h)	marketing purposes and in this regard, we would be providing you with marketing, advertising and promotional information, materials and/or documents relating to products, contests, services and/or events (including those of third party organisations whom Evitalize may collaborate with) that Evitalize (including its affiliates/related corporations) or such third party organisations may be selling, marketing, offering, organizing, involved in or promoting, whether such products, services and/or events exist now or are created in the future.

6.	We may disclose your personal data:

(a)	where such disclosure is required for performing obligations in the course of or in connection with our provision of the goods and services requested by you.


7.	The consent that you provide for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you in writing. You may withdraw consent and request us to stop collecting, using and/or disclosing your personal data for any or all of the purposes listed above by submitting your request in writing or via email to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details provided below.

8.	Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and its impact on our relationship with you) for your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process your request within two (2) business days of receiving it. 

9.	Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be in a position to continue providing our goods or services to you and we shall, in such circumstances, notify you before completing the processing of your request. Should you decide to cancel your withdrawal of consent, please inform us in writing in the manner described in clause 7 above. 

10.	Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclose without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.


11.	If you wish to make (a) an access request for access to a copy of the personal data which we hold about you or information about the ways in which we use or disclose your personal data, or (b) a correction request to correct or update any of your personal data which we hold about you, you may submit your request in writing or via email to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details provided below. 

12.	Please note that a reasonable fee may be charged for an access request. If so, we will inform you of the fee before processing your request. 

13.	We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible. In general, our response will be within two (2) business days. Should we not be able to respond to your request within thirty (30) days after receiving your request, we will inform you in writing within thirty (30) days of the time by which we will be able to respond to your request. If we are unable to provide you with any personal data or to make a correction requested by you, we shall generally inform you of the reasons why we are unable to do so (except where we are not required to do so under the PDPA).

To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures such as encryption, use of privacy filters, and disclosing personal data both internally and to our authorised third party service providers and agents only on a need-to-know basis. 

15.	You should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.


16.	We generally rely on personal data provided by you (or your authorised representative). In order to ensure that your personal data is current, complete and accurate, please update us if there are changes to your personal data by informing our Data Protection Officer in writing or via email at the contact details provided below.


17.	We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.

18.	We will cease to retain your personal data, or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.


19.	We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Singapore. However, if we do so, we will obtain your consent for the transfer to be made and we will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA.
